Posted by bhimkumari karki -

Transport means to carry people and goods from one place to another. We travel and carry goods with the help motor, car, van, motorcycle, bus, aeroplane etc. in Nepal. If here are not transport we can not travel to easily and we can not carry heavy loads. So transport has been regarded as an essential need for the development of the country.
There are many types of transport in nepal; aeroplane, bus, car, van, motorcycle etc. are main.In the high Mountain region animals like sheep, horse, pony, yak are used carry goods from one place to another. In the terai rigeon, elephant, bullockcarts ,tongas, rickshaws etc. are used. Wedo not have ship services, because Nepal is a land-locked country. The rivers flow through steep mountains because of which we can not use them for water transport. We have made airports even in mountains region and remote places. We have made use of plane services. Railway service is very limited in terai, from Janakpur to jayanagar. It covers only 53 km. A cablecar service was introduced in november 1998 from kuringhat to manakamana covering 3.1 km. Air services have linked all the major cities of the country and many of the inaccessible places. A rappid progress is going on in roadways.

my country nepal

Posted by bhimkumari karki -
The name of my country is Nepal. It lies between India and china. It lies between India and china. So it’s called a yam between two stones. It’s located in the southern part of the Asian continent. It has a territory of 1,47,181 square kms. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. Pokhara, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Birgunj, Bhairahawa etc. are the main cities of Nepal. Nepal is famous as the birth place of Gautam Buddha and the country of Mount-Everest. Nepal is a democratic nation with a multiparty system.

Nepal is a land-locked country. It’s geographically divided into three regions. There is the mountains regions of the north, which is full of snow-caped mountains. people from different countries all over the world come to Nepal to see the spectacular views the mountains offer and to enjoy mountaineering. In middle of the country there is the hill region, which is full of green hills, valleys, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, streams, springs etc. In the south, there are the plains, or “terai”. This region consists of forests and fertile lands. This region is called the food store of Nepal.
There is a population about 2,31,51,423 people in Nepal. Most of them are farmers. People follow the Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim and Christian religions. People from many different ethnic groups live here. They have their own language, culture and lifestyle. But there is peace, tolerance and brotherhood among them all. They share sorrow and happiness. Pokhara, Lumbini, Kathmandu, Solukhumbu, Chitwan, Aannapurna, Muktinath, Gosaikunda etc. are also place worth seeing in Nepal. Thousands of tourists and pilgrims visit Nepal annually. So I like Nepal very much.
